[music |Something soft and relaxing]

Ariadne hums happily to herself as she puts the finishing touches on the snack table. A tempting array of edibles - veggies, fruit, hummus, flat bread, organic corn chips and dip - is lined up for consumption, along with an array of beverages.

The tablecloth has been decorated with a repeating design of vividly-colored autumn foliage by Aya; the paper plates, cups and napkins have a similar design. Soft music plays on the stereo, and there is a selection of DVDs arranged on one of the bookcases near the entertainment center.

Another table has been set up with the products of the last month's labor - soaps, hand cream and skin lotion in a variety of herbal formulas and scents. **It took me forever, but it'll be worth it - I hope they like it.**

She makes one last check, then sets the CD to shuffle and waits happily for the rest of the guests to arrive. **This is going to be so much fun!**

Outside the Ohtori residence

A lacquered container of onigiri, or rice balls, in her hands, Saki makes her way out the door, pausing to look over her shoulder at her two companions. "Do you have everything you wanted to bring?"

Mayumi holds up a cardboard container. "Ginger ice cream right here!" She beams, her cheeks rosy from both the crisp fall air and excitement.

Kalira grins. "And my brownies are a go, too." She indicates the pan she's holding.
