Prospero and Anathema enter the house. Prospero is carrying the bag containing the champaign that Anathema purchased earlier in the day. He seems to be trying very hard to keep from smiling.

"I'll just put this somewhere to chill," Prospero says before heading off to the kitchen. "Why don't you gather the other ladies, there is much news to share with them."

Prospero heads into the kitchen and sticks the bottle in the fridge.

Ladies' Night - Sometime between Pennons and Samhain [Oct. 25th, 2005|06:56 pm]

[music |Something soft and relaxing]

Ariadne hums happily to herself as she puts the finishing touches on the snack table. A tempting array of edibles - veggies, fruit, hummus, flat bread, organic corn chips and dip - is lined up for consumption, along with an array of beverages.

The tablecloth has been decorated with a repeating design of vividly-colored autumn foliage by Aya; the paper plates, cups and napkins have a similar design. Soft music plays on the stereo, and there is a selection of DVDs arranged on one of the bookcases near the entertainment center.

Another table has been set up with the products of the last month's labor - soaps, hand cream and skin lotion in a variety of herbal formulas and scents. **It took me forever, but it'll be worth it - I hope they like it.**

She makes one last check, then sets the CD to shuffle and waits happily for the rest of the guests to arrive. **This is going to be so much fun!**

An Econo-Lodge somewhere in Camden [Oct. 19th, 2005|07:18 pm]
For Life & Liberty

[mood |predatorypredatory]

Novalin sidles into the room, her black satin skirts rustling faintly on the carpet.

"Speak," commands the pale-haired sidhe in blood-colored armor sitting in the hotel room chair.

"It seems she's been moved from Bryn Mawr," the sluagh responds in the sibilant whisper common to her kith. "I've been watching the house, and I haven't seen hide nor hair of her in over a week. And they've been cleaning out the guest room."

The sidhe lunges out of his chair, his wintry eyes flashing icy fire. "Where is she?"

Novalin cowers. "I don't know!" As he advances a step, she stammers, "But I can find out!"

He sits down again, his eyes resuming their hooded, reptilian gaze. "See that you do. Now get out of my sight, and don't come back until you have something useful!"

The sluagh beats a hasty retreat; as the door closes behind her, the sidhe pulls out a knife with a dark-colored blade and regards its surface with an almost loving look in his eyes. "Soon, my sweeting...soon."
